Solved digital imaging and production problems and provided production expertise to clients and digital artists as well as to engineering department for software development. 1995 - 1997 - ATOMIX, Hollywood, CA

Digital Effects Producer for this small studio producing CGI for feature films as well as broadcast commercials. Performed storyboard breakdown, bid preparation, client interface, and production management.

1987 - 1995 - Sidley Wright & Associates, Hollywood, CA

Co-owner of a computer animation studio creating digital effects for feature films and television commercials. Digital Effects Producer and Digital Effects Supervisor, managing the production staff as well as serving as the creative and technical designer for all projects. Spearheaded engineering efforts to develop new technology for the company including proprietary Digital Ink and Paint software used in five feature films and a dozen television commercials. Company services included 3D animation, compositing, and digital ink and paint for cel animation.

1985 - 1987 - Robert Abel & Associates, Hollywood, CA

Director Sales and Marketing for industrial and scientific productions for this award winning CGI studio. Conducted client meetings and prepared quotes for computer animation films for major aerospace and scientific clients. Often participated in the production a job by writing, directing, and producing. Previously, Manager of Product Development for Robert Abel's 3D animation software product.

The 28th Annual Telly Awards honor the best in TV commercials and film and video of outstanding quality receiving over 13,000 entries from 50 states and many countries around the world. Steve won his Telly for the best fantasy film "Dorme" as a master visual effects compositor.
